Northamptonshire Community Food and Artisan Festival - 26th and 27th September 2026.
Please be aware that this event is not taking place at Deene Park. The information being advertised is false, and Deene Park has not authorised or agreed to host either event. We have contacted Eventbrite to report the organiser and the misleading listings.
We would strongly advise anyone who has seen or purchased tickets to exercise caution and check directly with the venue before making any arrangements or payments.
We can however invite you to join us in a two events this autumn.
CELEBRATE AUTUMN GARDEN TOUR
As the weather cools, our gardens transition into a vibrant autumnal colour palette of yellow, orange and brown. Andrew, our Head Gardener, will walk you through the gardens, soaking up the beautiful seasonal changes including Acer trees, Persian ironwood trees (Parrotia persica), tulip trees (Liriodendron tulipifera) and the majestic Katsura tree (Cercidiphyllum japonicum) which is always a striking feature because of its magnificent colours and scent of candy floss. The woodland walk will be covered in beautiful cyclamen.
The visit is concluded with a warming bowl of soup with sandwiches in The Old Kitchen Tearoom with a roaring fire.
7th Earl and Crimea Tour - Thursday, 22nd October
Join us as we mark the anniversary of the Charge of the Light Brigade with a house tour centred around the Crimean War and the 7th Earl of Cardigan.
Learn about his family home as we explore the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade and how the Crimean War became the first media war. We'll also delve into the life of the 7th Earl and his family, and look back at photographs of the Balaklava Centenary dinner held at Deene in 1954. The tour ends with a visit to St. Peter's church where visitors will have exclusive access to the Brudenell family tomb and the final resting place of the 7th Earl and his wife Adeline.
Tickets include a Deene Tea, served in The Old Kitchen Tea Room.
