Set in what was the old kitchen for the main house, the tea room is dominated by a wall to wall Victorian range complete with open fire; the original stone slabs set into the floor were quarried locally, probably from the Weldon Quarry.
Visitors to the Old Kitchen tea room can enjoy a variety of dishes from our menu which offers delicious homemade food and freshly made sandwiches and toasties. For afternoon tea lovers we also offer a range of scrumptious cakes and pastries as well as the great British favourite, cream tea!
We are open from 12 noon – 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 12 noon – 5:00pm on House open days.
Access to the Old Kitchen Tea Room is via the garden so an admission charge is applicable to all visitors, please click here to view our opening times and admission prices.
