Set in what was the old kitchen for the main house, the tea room is dominated by a wall to wall Victorian range complete with open fire; the original stone slabs set into the floor were quarried locally, probably from the Weldon Quarry.
Visitors to the Old Kitchen tea room can enjoy a variety of freshly made refreshments dishes including delicious homemade food and freshly made sandwiches and toasties. For tea and cake lovers we also offer a range of scrumptious cakes and pastries as well as the great British favourite, cream tea!
On House open days we are open from 12noon until 5pm, last orders 4:30pm.
Access to the Old Kitchen Tea Room is via the garden so an admission charge is applicable to all visitors, please click here to view our opening times and admission prices.
